At the Scuba Shop our Open Water Diver classes are safe, easy, fun, exciting and affordable! We can certify anyone from age 10 and up. Our scuba classes consist of three phases... 1) Knowledge Development, 2) Class Review and Confined Water Training and 3) Open Water Dives. All three phases can be completed in just 4-5 days and upon successful completion of your final written exam, waterman ship assessment and phase 3 you will receive your PADI 5 star Open Water Diver certification, the most sought after and respected diver certification in the world!
CLASS DESCRIPTIONS AND PRICES (All prices include your open water dives, boat fees and scuba equipment) Below prices are with purchase of snorkeling gear
New diver class ($295.00 all inclusive**) This class is to get you on your way to become a P.A.D.I. Openwater Diver. We have 3 class options to choose from that fits your style best. We work hard to fit your schedule. Priced with the purchase of a snorkeling package.
• Weekday class- 2 days for 2 hours anytime between M-F 10am-6pm. ( you pick the times ) • Weeknight class-Tuesday & Thursday nights from 6pm-9pm offered twice a month ( check for dates) • Weekend class- Sat. & Sun... Sat 10am-1pm, Sun 2pm-5pm offered once a month( check for dates)
The above classes are all the same price and include everything , including charters.
Private class ($350.00 all inclusive**) These classes are scheduled at your request (we will meet your schedule*). You choose the times, days, week(s). This class is exclusive to you or your family or friend(s). This class is conducted in two sessions lasting approximately 2-3 hours per session. This does not include a private openwater checkout. If you have 2 or more you only pay $295.00 for private class .
With the purchase of snorkel package you will receive a discount that could save you up to $2000.00 in savings ……...
Openwater dives ( the real dives) Open Water dives are scheduled once a month, the last full weekend in each month. You will do 4 dives total. Dives 1 and 2 are done on Saturday from 9am-1pm and dives 3 and 4 are done on Sunday from 9am-1pm. Written exams and watermanship assessments will be done before your open water dives. Private Open water dives can be arranged at an additional charge of $200.00 per day, per diver.
If you don’t need snorkeling gear , ( class only …) Add $ 30.00 to above discounted prices ….
What is not included?(**) Not included are students’ Mask, Fins, Snorkel, Booties, swimsuits or towels. We recommend you purchase your Mask, Fins, Snorkel and Booties in advance of your class. Why? Because fit, comfort and safety are very important and having your own equipment is a must for scuba diving, plus you revieve 20% off other retail items , saves you lots of money …..

We are the only store with our own 8 ft deep heated pool in the upstate . Our classes can be set up at your convenience and offered 7 days a week , 24 hrs a day . Our pool is open to all our customers to use when you are planning a trip and need to refresh your skills . It’s free, but only to our customers.
